Playable — interaction prototype

Shopping on Fire TV

Ten-foot shopping interface

A sofa-distance commerce prototype with three inputs: D-pad navigation, Alexa-style voice, and a phone that pairs in one scan to become a remote, keyboard, pointer, and microphone.

01

Distance changes the interface.

Large type, visible focus, short rows, and predictable D-pad movement replace the dense controls that work at arm’s length.

02

The phone fills the remote’s gaps.

A QR code or six-character room code pairs the phone without an install or login, adding keyboard, pointer, and microphone input.

03

Shared state makes two screens one tool.

Search, focus, cart, and navigation remain synchronised through a room with presence and cleanup rather than two competing sessions.

The order-history view keeps repeat purchase readable and operable across the room.
